Royal Court Hotel & Spa Coventry, Coventry

The hotel seemed like a promising choice, but unfortunately, the reality did not live up to the expectations. The room, although upgraded to an exec double, was very basic with poor decor reminiscent of the 1960s and fell short of the enticing pictures. Furthermore, the heating was lacking in the room, leaving it feeling old and cold.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with clean and spacious rooms near the lift. The Jacuzzi bath was a luxurious touch, but some noise from the lift disturbed my sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring my family had adjoining rooms. The location was convenient for my work, although the surroundings needed some maintenance. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel had both positive and negative aspects to consider. The room was slightly upgraded from reception but faced the entrance, causing smoke smell due to people talking and smoking outside. Additionally, only one towel was provided for two guests and the TV placement was inconvenient. The bathroom and room had an old-fashioned feel.

The service was unhelpful and lacked any form of customer care or communication. The location, though decent for access to main routes, required significant investments for improvements. The dining experience was overpriced for the low-quality food served. The overall experience left much to be desired.
